Increasing volatility in crude oil prices meant that optimal refinery operations were critical to profitability. Refinery Operation Managers needed to be mindful of operating revenue concerns. For this, they needed to develop a wide-angle business perspective and realize the larger impact of their daily decisions towards cost cutting, resource planning and process improvement.
WHAT WE DID
enParadigm conducted an Operations Simulation Program , which allowed participants to take on specific roles and run virtual refineries. They experienced real-time challenges related to cross-functional decision making, driving operational efficiency and long term planning.
