Randstad India Ltd
BPO | KPO | Consulting | Research Analytics
Randstad was positioning itself to customers with a new model called Total Talent Architecture, whereby it would work along with customers at a strategic HR level to optimize their workforce and fulfil their talent needs holistically. It was moving away from the high volume, low margin, general staffing business of hiring frontline executives, towards the higher margin, professional staffing business of hiring people with specialized skillsets. It was also getting into the business of end-to-end recruitment process outsourcing. The company moved from having separate sales and recruitment teams, to having the same person getting the customer mandate and searching for candidates. Managers were now looking not only at the final sales numbers, but also at effort and productivity across various stages in the sales pipeline. They also started having P&L responsibility.
WHAT WE DID
Using our REITM methodology, enParadigm identified specific gaps, and orchestrated a business intervention to help the middle management have clarity on the strategic direction of the business, understand their role across sales and delivery, build new and existing client relationships better, and use financial metrics for performance management of their teams.
Participants also went through weekly post program retention modules, defined SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Result & Timebound) goals, and worked on implementing them. enParadigm put in a place a followup and review mechanism to measure impact over the next 6 months.
-Improved strategic focus, with better use of market information to decide focus customer segments and appropriate resource allocation. Created services for new customer segments, such as nurse recruitment for hospitals.
-Created well-defined processes for planning and executing activities for customers and meet financial goals.
-Improved cross-functional interaction by being more sensitive and tactful in dealing with multiple stakeholders.
